We have established and are committed to act by our code of business ethics, which is our standard for proper behavior and value judgment at NAVER Cloud.

Based on our corporate ethics creed of honesty and integrity, we pursue the core values of NAVER Cloud, such as humility and accountability, and continue to self-develop and conduct fair business. NAVER Cloud has been thoroughly implanting ethical business practices for coexistence and growth with various stakeholders.

NAVER Cloud complies with all norms, including laws and regulations regarding fair trade, to promote the creativity of NAVER Cloud and its partners, protect consumers, carry out balanced development in overall society, and realize social responsibilities. To achieve this goal, we are operating our own compliance management system and fair trade compliance program striving to prevent unfair practices, coexist with our partners, and establish a culture for compliance, along with fair and free competition.

And in order to minimize potential risk factors in business management and establish an ethical business management culture, we are taking the initiative to establish a compliance management system through an integrity code and anti-corruption management system.

Protecting Our Stockholders' Interests
We aim to maximize our corporate value through transparent and efficient management with constant innovation and share the results with our stockholders. We respect their right to know, as well as their lawful requests and suggestions.
Disclosure of Corporate Information
Corporate information such as management and business activities are actively disclosed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. We truly appreciate the opportunity to work with our customers as one through the network. We maintain a transparent, accurate accounting record system in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Our suppliers are selected by applying fair and reasonable standards for business purposes, and their implementation process and quality are evaluated by the same standards before feedback is given. We ensure that all transactions are conducted fairly in equal terms, and do not engage in any wrongful activity that abuses our superior position in trade. We recognize our suppliers as strategic partners based on mutual respect, and strive for shared profit and growth.
Protecting Supplier Information
We carefully protect the information and trade secrets of our business suppliers, and will not use them for any purpose other than originally intended, except with the consent of the suppliers or when it is required by law. We will not unlawfully acquire, or use undisclosed information or trade secrets of third parties including suppliers, even if it is useful or beneficial to us.
Society
Compliance with Laws and Social Rules
We comply with all laws, social norms, and accounting standards in all domestic and international regions in which we operate, and respect the culture and trading customs of local communities. We comply with international standards and related laws and regulations in regard to human rights and environment.
Contribution to Social Development and Promoting Healthy Culture
We faithfully fulfill our duties to create employment, as well as report and pay taxes as a corporate citizen. We endeavor to create a new world of networks through constant value creation, enriching human lives. We seek to fulfill our social responsibilities through philanthropic activities, and the projects in education, culture, and welfare, as well as encourage our employees to participate in volunteer activities and promoting institutional support. We contemplate, evaluate the cultural harmfulness of the services provided by NAVER Cloud, take actions to protect young people, and actively reflect the value of creating a healthy culture in local communities in our business activities. We will not discriminate or have prejudice against various social stakeholders including our customers, suppliers, and employees for any reason such as race, religion, region, gender, or physical condition.
Maintaining Political Objectivity
NAVER Cloud does not engage in politics, and does not directly or indirectly make unlawful donations or support election candidates, political parties, or political organizations. We do not allow any political activities that make use of the company's organization, manpower, or facilities for political purposes.
Employees
Respect for Employees
We respect each employee's person in all business activities based on mutual trust. We create the highest-level benefit system and work environment, and carry out our best efforts so that everyone at NAVER Cloud can work proudly and feel rewarded and happy. We establish a system for health and safety of our employees, and comply with all related international standards, laws, and regulations.
Treated Reasonably and Fairly
We reasonably evaluate and reward all employees based on their competency and performances, and provide fair opportunities for mutual growth for NAVER Cloud and our employees. We encourage and foster employees' self-development activities, as well as actively provide necessary learning opportunities in order to cultivate talent in the long term.

Ethics Action Agreement with Our Partners

NAVER Cloud implements our Ethical Action Agreement that promises to respect our suppliers as partners in management activities, and pursue shared growth through transparent and fair trade and mutual cooperation. (Date of enforcement: January 1, 2015)

Transparent and Fair Trade

NAVER Cloud and its partner companies comply with laws and ethics in trading money and goods, and conduct business in a transparent and fair manner.

Prohibition of Activities that Disrupt Partnership

NAVER Cloud does not engage in any actions that impede the partnership, such as requesting or receiving money, goods, entertainment, or other bribes, or unjustly influence our partner companies.

Protection of Whistleblowers and Prohibition of Retaliation

If a partner company violates this agreement by coercion or other influence from a NAVER Cloud employee but reports the act to NAVER Cloud, then no discrimination or adverse action is made in accordance with "Guidelines for the Protection of Whistleblower and Prohibition of Retaliation."

Whistleblower Reward Program

If the whistleblower's complaints prove to be true, NAVER Cloud will take disciplinary action against the accused employee, and then reward the partner who appropriately reported the issue in accordance with the "Whistleblower Reward Program."

Accountability Report

To foster a transparent and honest corporate culture, NAVER Cloud operates the accountability report system through which a NAVER Cloud employee reports any meals, gifts, or other services received from a partner company.

The Business Ethics Consulting Center is where you can consult or report on unfair business handling of employees of NAVER Cloud or affiliates, unjust demands abusing superior bargaining position, receipt of money, goods, entertainment, or services, interference in partner company's management, complaints related to payment, leakage of confidential information, and other fraudulent or corrupt activities.
Under all circumstances, any consultation or report is confidential, and the identity of the individual consulting or filing a complaint, as well as the details of complaints, shall be protected. The report admitted will be processed as quickly as possible, and the consultee can receive the response via phone or email if desired.
